Two representatives of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) appreciate the presence of marine sanitation system management products in Indonesia, as their visit in April 2016 to PT Bumi Menara Internusa (BMI) in the coastal longest bridge, the Bangkalan, East Java.
“Representatives of the United States had come to the crab meat processing PT BMI is in the coastal Suramadu Bangkalan side, because the majority BMI products exported to the country,” said Director of Operations of PT Bumi Menara Internusa (BMI) Wita Setioko.
Wita encountered in Bangkalan said two representatives of the United States Barbara Montwill and Jane A Cluster of “Food and Drug Administration” (FDA) tasked with reviewing several locations in Indonesia marine products processing, in order to look at the safety of the food delivered to their home countries.
He said during the visit representatives of the FDA proposed a number of detailed questions about how the arrest, the number of vessels used, and directly inspect the cleanliness of the facilities and infrastructure of a crab meat processing at the site of PT BMI.
“They are satisfied after seeing the facilities directly our process, which is integrated in our process of madura landing site until the crab stripping process. Satisfaction and appreciation FDA representative impacted the export of crab Indonesia,” he said.
