Traceability Identification of Final Product and Raw Material, Giving APRI the Opportunity to Share About Traceability System, Surabaya, November 1, 2018

As time goes by, the necessity and the demand of the fisheries and marine products will be change, moreover there were increasing of the requirements of fisheries and marine products from the buyers to the exporting country. This is what happened now, where the buyers increasing the requirements that one of them is traceability from the fisheries and marine products. In Indonesia, there was many industries that not yet implement the traceability system. Meanwhile, the traceability system is now be the requirement which is requested by many buyers. So that, it is important for the industries to understand and implement the traceability system. This matter be the background to build and develop the understanding about traceability system, and implement it.
Traceability for fisheries and marine products realized by various parties as an important component. As a real action to develop the understanding and knowledgement about traceability, Quality Control Center BKIPM organized the Traceability Identification of Final Product and Raw Material which held on November1, 2018 at the BKIPM Surabaya 1, and inviting APRI to be the one of speaker to share the knowledgement about traceability system. APRI fulfill the invitation by Mr. Bambang A. Nugraha. The program attended by several industries in fisheries and marine sectors such as frozen and dry fisheries industries.
APRI which was build the traceability system for blue swimming crab products, share the various information so that the other industries have an idea to develop the traceability system for every industry. In order to facilitate the understanding of traceability system, the presentation also give a quiz which was every group participants compile the traceability system and presenting it to the all participants, and then assessed by assessment team. With the presentation from APRI, we hope that every participants understand about the traceability system, can implement it, and share with others to develop the sustainable fisheries and marine industry.
