The management of blue swimming crab fisheries is cannot done by only one stakeholder. A collaboration is needed to manage the blue swimming crab fisheries that involving the central and local government, educational institution, association, NGO, and the industrial performer. As a follow-up for that reasons, Central Java Province has done several steps and on February 4, 2019, organize the program namely The Meeting to Follow-Up the Implementation of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management Priority Action Plan in Central Java Province.
The Meeting to Follow-Up the Implementation of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management Priority Action Plan in Central Java Province conducted at Marine Affairs and Fisheries Agency of Central Java Province, Semarang. This meeting attended by several stakeholders such as Dr. Ir. Besweni,M. Si. as Head of Fish Resources of Inland Sea, Territorial, and Island Waters, Blue Swimming Crab Management/Conservation Team of Central Java Province, Dr. Abdul Ghofar as a Representative of NFI Crab Council, Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association (APRI), and Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP).
In this opportunity, APRI representated by Dr. Hawis Madduppa as APRI Executive Director and Mr. Bambang A. Nugraha as APRI General Secretary. This meeting was intended to discuss the implementation of plan that was arranged.
