Review the application of traceability system for Fish Procesing Unit (UPI) and suppliers

Fish Quarantine Inspection Agency (BKIPM-MMAF Jakarta) was held an meeting to review the application of traceability system for Fish Procesing Unit (UPI) and suppliers. This event was held on November 16-17, 2017 in GMB 2 Meeting Room MMAF Jakarta. Several Seafood industry arround Indonesia also invited to this event. Mr. Bambang Arif Nugraha (APRI Secretary) invited as speaker in this activity. He was present about APRI traceability program in Blue Swimming Crab Product. APRI itself has done several programs to support the traceability of BSC products such as enumeration in Miniplant, Control Document Program, System tracking with Pelagic Data System (PDS) because this program to assist responsible fisheries management. Product traceability is necessary to ensure the source of the products obtained. In addition, due to the imposition of Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP) by the US in early 2018 then the traceability of the product will be very important to be a common concern for the small business entrepreneurs
