Saturday, 25 February 2023. One of APRI’s Board of Directors Mr. Wita Setioko visited the location of a round pond containing blue swimming crabs in Paciran-Lamongan. This activity aims to observe the development of blue swimming crab after stocking on Saturday, 4 February 2023.
Blue swimming crab is one of Indonesia’s potential fishery commodities, APRI also continues to socialize about #GTK5Menit and #GhostFishingCleanUP by friends in the field, so that the potential for this crab can be managed in a sustainable and traceable manner.
Not only that, the benefits of sustainable swimming crab fisheries can provide quite a lot of benefits for the community, even the cadets of the Sidoarjo KP Polytechnic who assist APRI in this collaborative development of innovation and cultivation technology.
