Meeting of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management Central Java

November 23 2023, the Central Java provincial maritime and fisheries service held a meeting of the Central Java crab fisheries management committee, which was initiated by the SFP. Participants who attended included the Central Java provincial DKP, BBPI, BBPBAP, district DKP, and Forkom Nelangsa. The opening of the event was delivered by the provincial DKP, then continued with the delivery of material presented by SFP representatives. The DKP of Central Java province said that in managing crab it is necessary to procure stock, of which the crab stock will be delegated to BBPBAP Jepara. As well as saying that BRIDA is currently conducting renewable energy trials on former cantrang vessels that have switched to crab fishing gear (BRIN – APRI activity in Rembang). It is hoped that this trial activity will be successful and can convert cantrang fishermen to crab fishermen.
