Focus Group Discussion: Mapping Miniplant of Blue Swimming Crab in North Maluku Province, December 10, 2018
by adminapri December 27, 2018 0 commentsAPRI in collaboration with the Fish Quarantine Agency and Ternate Quality Control (BKIPM), the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) and the United Nations Development Programs (UNDP) held a Miniplant Mapping FGD in North Maluku Province on December 10, 2018 at the BKIPM Ternate Office. This activity aims to verify and map miniplants in the North Maluku region and improve the synergy and understanding of the CPIB and SKP certification process in the crab fisheries miniplant.
This activity was attended by the Head of North Maluku BKIPM, Head of North Maluku Maritime and Fisheries Service, Head of Ternate DKP, SFP, Area Manager of APRI members and Suppliers and Rajungan Miniplants in North Maluku Province. Activities consist of material delivery and discussion as well as training in procedures for filling out document controls.
The material presented consisted of procedures for certification of processing feasibility by the Maluku Province DKP, the importance of understanding and legal action against violations of KEPMEN No. 56/2016 will have negative implications for industry players even at the level of fishermen, collectors or miniplants delivered by the Secretary General of APRI Then proceed with the Production Standard in Accordance with the Fisheries Product Quality Assurance System by BKIPM North Maluku and continued with the submission of Improvement in Compliance with Traceability of Rajungan Products Through Application of Control Document by the Executive Director of APRI. Through this activity it is known that participants in general have understood the regulations that go on in the crab fisheries, but the community still needs assistance and direction.
