Field Story : Gandrung Rajungan Festival Improves Lamongan Culinary
by adminapri September 18, 2022 0 commentsFisherman and local people in the coastal area of Lamongan held the “Gandrung Rajungan” Festival, Tuesday (13/9). The event, which was held at the Lamongan Marine Tourism (WBL) page, Paciran District, was an effort to raise the potential of local traditional culinary.
Lamongan has great potential for producing marine fish or seafood, one of which is crab. In addition to products made from blue swimming crab, such as crab paste, frozen food, crab curry, beside crab product this festival also promoted salted fish, frozen seafood, fish crackers, typical Paciran fish paste, smoked fish, drinks, and other processed fish foods.
“So who wants to enjoy crabs, please come to Paciran Lamongan, especially if it is cooked it will definitely be more delicious. Hopefully this festival can increase UMKM in Lamongan Regency,” said Yuhronur Efendi as a head of the rural district. The festival, which provides 1,000 free blue swimming crab portions to eat free.
Hanifa Ramadhan and friend as a APRI Youth 2022 participant who get research in Paciran also help the also participate in judging the fisherman who get big blue swimming crab competition held at the festival.
