FGD on Achievement of Sustainable Fisheries, Bogor, July 5, 2019

Sustainable fisheries from day to day being the one of things that often to be discussed in every activity. This proved that the awareness of sustainable fisheries is increase. Sustainability is one of the reasons of the establishment of APRI and APRI since along time ago has been aware of sustainability of blue swimming crab fisheries.

As an organization which has focusing on the sustainability of blue swimming crab, APRI often participated on various discussions in sustainability issue for blue swimming crab or the other fisheries. On July 5, 2019, APRI participated in Focus Group Discussion on Achievement of Sustainable Fisheries in the Framework for Sustainable Development Goals and the National Medium-Term Development Plan. The activity carried out in Grand Savero Hotel Bogor, facilitated the participants to give input in the context of sustainable fisheries for several points such as the mechanism, fisheries management area, and strategy.
