Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Working Visit of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Demak, July 23, 2019

Betahwalang is a village which is located on Bonang Subdistrict, Demak. Betahwalang known as blue swimming crab fisheries management village, which is being the pilot village for blue swimming crab fisheries management. The success of Betahwalang cannot be separated from the role of APRI and partners that initiated it. Moreover, it more specifically due to the community role, including the fishermen and surrounding communities who are willing to done the good management to realize the blue swimming crab sustainability.

The Minister of Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti, planned to visit Betahwalang Village on July 29, 2019. In order to prepare the work visit of the Minister of Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, APRI was invited to join the coordination meeting with the stakeholders on July 23, 2019 at Semarang, Central Java. The meeting discussing about the substantion of the activity, the preparation of technical event, and the field visit to Betahwalang Village.
