West Java Province through the Head of the Agency of marine Affairs and Fisheries Decree No. 415/Kep.800/DKP form a management team for blue swimming crab fisheries namely the Sustainable Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management Preparation Team. This team involving various stakeholders such as the government, industry, university, and NGO. APRI which consists the member from factories and companies, join the team as the representatives from the industry.
On September 11-13, 2019, Sustainable Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management Preparation Team of West Java Province visits Cirebon and Indramayu to see the field conditions of blue swimming crab fisheries. The team visits blue swimming crab supply chain such as collector or cooking station. And then team also visits the office of the Supervision of Marine and Fisheries Resources of Cirebon and the Chairman of Indonesian Fishermen Union house.
