Gerbah (Charybdis Feriata) or commonly called the Cross Crab is a type of crustacean that lives on the bottom of the waters with a sandy mud substrate. The existence of this pot often appears together with crab crabs. Morphologically, the pottery has large claws and sharp teeth compared to crabs.

According to a report from Nur Arofah Pemalang as APRI enumerator “Gerbah” is one of the recorded bycatch. based on fishermen’s reports to APRI enumerators, if this crab is caught it will try to escape by destroying the trap net (Bubu).
