APRI Sharing the Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Management at the Preparation of Grouper and Snapper Harvest Strategy Document in West Nusa Tenggara, Jakarta, March 19, 2019

The management of blue swimming crab fisheries always be improved to to make sustainable and better blue swimming crab fisheries. Various activities and programs were developed, and one or them is harvest strategy. Harest strategy for blue swimming crab fisheries done collaboratively between various stakeholders such as the government, association, universities, NGOs, and industry. Several steps was done in order to realize the blue swimming crab harvest strategy document.

This experience then made APRI was invited to share the knowledgement, information, and experience in the Preparation of Grouper and Snapper Harvest Strategy Document in West Nusa Tenggara which was organized by Directorate of Fish Resources Management collaborate with Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). This activity held on March 19, 2019 at Mina Bahari II Building Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

In this opportunity, APRI represented by Bambang A. Nugraha as General Secretary share about the management of blue swimming crab fisheries, including the harvest strategy. With this sharing, APRI hope that what is done by APRI and partners can provide additional learning and knowledge to the participants. And moreover, can provide learning and knowledge to other fisheries fields to make better Indonesia fisheries.
