APRI Q3 Meeting

Asosiasi Pengelolaan Rajungan Indonesia (APRI) has conducted 3rd Quarterly Meeting with topic “Mini Plant Certification Program dan Control Document 2016 -2017 toward Blue Swimming Crab global standard and sustain”. The Q3 was held in Bali on 22-23 October 2016. The meeting was attended by 16 APRI members, Government (BKIPM and PDSPKP), and NGO Partners (MSC, SFP and Starling Resources).

Chairman of APRI Kuncoro Catur Nugroho reports the industry perspective and updating the information about BSC exports/imports, and Executive Director Dr Hawis Madduppa reports two years activities (2014-2106) in BSC sustainability.

BKIPM bring the topic about health certificate online, Ibu Artati Widiarti talked about SKP Mini Plant, Noah Greenberg from Starling resources prsented the efforts in Lampung for sustainable fisheries management, Desy Anggraeni from SFP updated the control document trials, and Matt Watson sharing about the MSC certificate process.

During the meeting, ‘new’ boards have been elected for 2016-2018, where Kuncoro Catur Nugroho as the chairman, Bambang Arif Nugraha as secretary, and Wita Setioko as treasurer.
