APRI at the MSC Capacity Building Training

In connection with the increasing Fisheries Improvement Project (FIP) that has been done by several stakeholders in Indonesia, various efforts have been made for the success of this activity. One of the efforts is to conduct MSC Capacity Building Training. this activity is a cooperation project between Marine Stewarship Council Fish For Good Project with Indonesian Fisheries Pole & Line and Handline Association (AP2HI) with International Pole and Line Foundation (IPNLF). In the activity invited various institutions ranging from government agencies, universities, scientists, industry representatives, NGOs and also APRI.

This activity was held for 5 days on 19-23 March 2018 in Jakarta. During the training, the participants were very enthusiastic about this training. Seen from the various questions raised by the participants to the presenters. Dr. Hawis Madduppa as Executive Director of APRI also presented about the fishery improvement program that has been done by APRI previously in front of participant . The participants also seemed very interested in the various programs implemented by APRI. It is hoped that this activity can give benefit especially for the fishery business actor and APRI itself.
