Adaptive Fisheries Management Training

In order to support the Indonesian government and IPPRB Lampung, Yayasan Bina Usaha Lingkungan (YBUL) and Environmental Defense Fund-Fisheries Solution Centre (EDF-FSC) held an training workshop called Adaptive Fisheries Management Training. This event was held on 19-21 Juli 2017 at Jakarta. The target of this workshop is the parties consisting of government representatives, secretariat of IPPRB Lampung team, IPPRB Lampung team and also invited the BSC expert to share the  knowledge of the adaptive fishery progress, adjust the implementation in Lampung, and conduct training utilization. The IPPRB team itself now in step III that is Arrange Action Plan of BSC Management in East Coast Lampung. APRI was invited to this event and representatives by Bambang Arif Nugraha (APRI Secretary) and Miftahul Khair (APRI Admin). This event also simulate how to management the adaptive fisheries.

The purposes of this event is to improve the adaptive fishery management to be applied in IPPRB Lampung, strengthen and clarify the adaptive management to support the process of formulating the action plan of BSC fishery management in Lampung and also to support the management development of Indonesian fishery and its institutions.

The expected result from this training is Knowing and understanding adaptive management processes, the participant could help IPPRB Lampung team and guide for the IPPRB Lampung development.
