APRI participates in the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Forum by USAID

29 August 2023, Dr. Ayu Ervinia had the opportunity to explain the role of the Association in fulfilling MMPA exports. One of the efforts in sustainable fisheries management is to minimize the impact on ecosystems and habitats caused by fisheries activities.

The objectives of this activity are 1. Increase fisheries business actors’ understanding of the importance of fisheries management responsible and sustainable. 2. Increase the interest of fisheries business actors to get involved and invest in it responsible and sustainable fisheries management. 3. Increase the involvement of fisheries business actors in fisheries management responsible and sustainable. 4. Increase fisheries business actors’ understanding of fisheries management concepts together and the need to provide incentives to micro-scale and small-scale fishermen who have seeks to make improvements in its fishing practices.
