Meeting of the Crab Fisheries Data Management Committee of East Java Province
Saturday, July 29, 2022. East Java is one of the provinces that has the potential for marine fisheries both from cultivation and capture fisheries, one of which is crab. One of APRI’s focuses in the Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) is to support the crab stock assessment and improvement program (stock assessment).
Through the Meeting of the Crab Fisheries Data Management Committee in East Java Province as a means of collecting, improving, standardizing, and communicating related to crab fishery data in East Java Province. The importance of data collection as a means for fisheries management is quite important.
This activity was carried out at the Nautica Building, Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Prov. East Java online and offline. This meeting was attended by representatives from East Java DKP, City/Regency DKP Representatives in East Java, Fisheries Industry Players, Academics, and APRI Enumerators.
