APRI Attends Stakeholder Meeting for Crab Fisheries Data Collection in Demak

Following up on previous programs, The visit and coordination of crab management in Demak Regency will be held on 5 – 9 April 2021. This activity was attended by the Head of the District Marine and Fisheries Service. Demak, Head of Capture Fisheries Division of DKP Kab. Demak, Section Head of DKP Kab. Demak, Head of PPP Morodemak, Head of Control of Catches, Ships, and Fishing Equipment – Marine and Fisheries Service of Central Java Province, Head of Strategic Plan of Bonang District, Head of Purworejo Village, Fishermen in Purworejo Village and Tambak Polo Hamlet, representatives of APRI, fisheries extension workers of DKP Demak Regency, and Sub-Coordinator and Staff of PSDI Inland Sea, Territorial, and Archipelagic Waters Dit. PSI.
The purpose of this meeting was to coordinate and identify for the determination of potential locations for the crab management project site in Demak Regency, Central Java Province and to accept proposed activities to be carried out in the village of the project site location;
This activity is a continuation of the GEF-5 ISLME program regarding the discussion of reports on the progress of crab fisheries activities in the Demak area.
