DKP of Pamekasan Gives 1000 Folding Traps to Fishermen KUB Berkah Capit Biru

Thursday, November 4, 2021. The Head of the DKP of Pamekasan and the Head of the Fishing Gear Division along with their staff distributed aid for fishing gear, which is a recording of fishing gear (Fishing Gear Swap). This activity was also coordinated by APRI CO-Management Lailatul Qomariyah who was in the field with KUB Berkah Capit Biru.

A total of 1000 fishing gears in the form of folding traps have also been socialized by DKP Pamekasan and APRI CO-Management regarding how to use and use them. Previously, blue claw fishermen used box traps, the role of APRI CO-Management was also to help with the use of folding traps for fishermen. The aid of this fishing gear is also expected to make it easier for fishermen to go to the sea. One of the advantages of folding traps is that they are easy to load on ships.

Even though he is not yet used to it, Suparman, the Head of the KUB Berkah Capit Biru Group, is very happy and continues to get used to the use of folding trap fishing gear, which is continuously assisted by APRI CO-Management. The activity of switching fishing gear is expected to be able to improve the welfare of fishermen and increase fishermen’s awareness about the use of environmentally friendly fishing gear in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
