Stakeholders Meeting For Blue Swimming Crab, Snapper and Grouper in Indonesia in Ballrom Gedung Mina Bahari III- KKP, Jakarta, March 3, 2020

The Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs (KKP) through the Directorate General of Capture Fisheries (DJPT) launched a harvest strategy for management of blue swimming crab, snapper, and grouper fisheries as the fisheries management area (LPP WPPNRI). The launch was carried out by the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.  In this event, APRI participated in making the harvest strategy for blue swimming crab.

According to Edhy this fishery utilization strategy is able to guarantee the future of food sovereignty. In addition, environmental-labeled commodities can increase the competitiveness of Indonesia products in the global market.
