APRI General Secretary Sharing Knowledge in National Seminar PISCARIAM, Malang, November 18, 2019

Indonesia is the archipelago country with the number of islands reaching 17 thousands. Indonesia area dominated by waters with covers 2/3 of the area and has long coastline. Based on it, Indonesia has the potential natural resources, especially fisheries and marine resources. To support the fisheries and marine field, various universities in Indonesia have the study program in fisheries and marine field.

Many of the Indonesian people interest to continue their study in the fisheries and marine field, with various motivations that they have. With the many of the young people that studying fisheries and marine field, it increasing the hopes about the management and utilization of fisheries and marine resources. An honor and gratitude for APRI that has an opportunity to support the development of fisheries and marine young people, in Brawijaya University, Malang on November 18, 2019.

APRI which was representated by the General Secretary Mr. Bambang Arif Nugraha, sharing knowledge to the students in Brawijaya University in order to National Seminar PISCARIAM 2019 that organized by Study Program Students Association of the Utilization of Fisheries Resource/Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pemanfaatan Sumberdaya Perikanan (HMP PSP). The topic he brought was “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Capture Fisheries”. Mr. Bambang Arif Nugraha delivered the explanation of the general description about entrepreneurial opportunities in the field of capture fisheries, the competitiveness of capture fisheries products, and the important role of APRI in the capture fisheries business.

With this event in general, and specific the sharing knowledge by APRI, we hope that the present and future generations have better knowledge and able to implement it to create the better management and utilization of fisheries and marine resources. And also, on your shoulders, the welfare Indonesian people will develop well.
