APRI Participated on the Discussion of Annual Work Plan 2019-2022 within the Framework of Cooperation between MMAF and MSC, October 1-2, 2019
by adminapri October 3, 2019 0 commentsMinistry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia (MMAF) and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) have been signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding support for enhancing capture fisheries and sustainable markets in Indonesia on August 27, 2019. To follow up the MoU, on the October 1-2, 2019, the Directorate of Capture Fisheries as the unit that appointed as PIC of implementation of activities initiated the preparation of Annual Work Plan/Rencana Kerja Tahunan (RKT) 2019-2022 between MSC and local government in the location of the activity that is East Java, South Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Bali. RKT held at The Akmani Hotel, Jakarta.
Blue swimming crab through the Fisheries Improvement Program (FIP) Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association/Asosiasi Pengelolaan Rajungan Indonesia (APRI) became one of the commodities that received Fish For Good assistance from MSC, one of which was Pre-Assessment. In this case, APRI participated in the preparation of Annual Work Plan, together with the other MSC partners, institutions in the scope of MMAF, and local government. In the first day, the there were agendas the discussion of Annual Work Plan of East Java, South Kalimantan, and Bali. APRI with the Agency of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of East Java Province and IPB University, focusing the discussion on the Annual Work Plan of East Java. And the second day, there were the discussion of Annual Work Plan of West Nusa Tenggara and Maluku. The activity, closed by summary and follow up plan.
