Work Visit of the Minister of MMAF to Betahwalang Village, Demak, July 29, 2019

Generally, coastal people will done the certain rituals as a tradition and their belief. One of the coastal communities that done the ritual is the coastal communities in Betahwalang. Betahwalang Village is a part of Demak Regency, West Java Province that is known as blue swimming crab village. Coastal communities in that place, annualy done the alms of the earth and sea.
In 2019, the activitiy or ritual is conducted on July 29, 2019. In order to the alms of the earth and sea, the Minister of Ministry of Marine Affairs And Fisheries done the work visit to Betahwalang. She and the community together done the alms of the earth and sea as gratitude for what God gave. The work visit of the Minister of MMAF also enlivened by various activities inculding the expo. Betahwalang Village itself is a pilot project for blue swimming crab fisheries management which is initiated by APRI and partners. APRI also participated in the work visit of Minister of MMAF in order to alms of the earth and sea. In this activity, APRI also open the booth to show APRI’s programs.
