Coordination of the Development and Follow-Up Management of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries in Central Java Province, December 4, 2018

In the context of implementing sustainable crab fisheries management in Central Java Province, as well as based on the Central Java Governor Decree Number: 523/93 of 2017 concerning the Establishment of Facilitation Teams and Rajungan Fisheries Management/Conservation Teams in Central Java Province 2017-2022, Marine and Fisheries Agency of Central Java was holding a Coordination Meeting on the Development and Follow-Up Management of Rajungan Fisheries in Central Java Province. This activity was held on December 4, 2018 at the 3rd Floor Cantrang Meeting Room, Marine and Fisheries Agency of Central Java Province.

This activity was also attended by various parties including the head of the hall and body under the auspices of the Central Java DKP, Head of Coastal Fisheries Port in Central Java Province, Head of Regency / City DKP in Central Java Province, APRI, SFP, NFI Crab Council, several UPIs in Central Java and representatives of miniplants and fishermen representatives.

As for this activity, Mr. Bambang A. Nugraha as APRI representative also gave a speech on Market Demand for Quality, Sustainable, Compliant, and Searchable Crab Products. Besides that, Dr. Hawis Madduppa as the Executive Director of APRI played a role as a resource person by delivering material in the form of the Rajungan Fisheries Improvement Program in Indonesia. Dr. Hawis Madduppa also acted as moderator in the discussion session. This activity was closed by delivering conclusions by Dr. Abdul Ghofar as the representative of the NFI Crab Council, as well as the DKP of Central Java Province.
