APRI Participates the Lampung Site Visit, Lampung, November 3-5, 2018
by adminapri November 16, 2018 0 commentsLampung Site Visit is a program that was organized by Starling Resources, Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, and EDF-YBUL which is facilitate the funding partners to see directly the field condition at the several industries of blue swimming crab supply chain in Lampung, directly interact with the performer in all supply chain level, and discuss with the government and other stakeholder. APRI as the organization that is focusing at the blue swimming crab also participates the program. Lampung Site Visit held on November 3-5, 2018 in Lampung with various activities such as visiting the fish processor unit and discuss with the government. This program participated by the funding partners, Lampung Province Fisheries Department, Research and Development Agency, Starling Resources, Sustainable Fisheries Partnership, EDF-YBUL, and APRI.
In this program, APRI participates at all activities from day 1 until day 3. In day 1, the funding partners and all of participants visit the fish processor unit that is PT Pangan Sumber Inti Laut in Lempasing. Day 2, there was activities to visit several supply chain such as the landing sites and miniplants. In day 3, there was a discussion with the local government such as Bappeda Lampung Province. In this opportunity, APRI also giving the presentation about the APRI’s role in blue swimming crab management.
APRI hope that blue swimming crab industry in Indonesia are able to develop, and created the sustainable blue swimming crab fisheries over the time.
