FGD – Socialization and Certification of Quality Standards Product in Miniplant at Cirebon, West Java

Improvement program for BSC supply chain must be improved. In this case the Cirebon Food, Agriculture, Marine and Fisheries Agency (FAMFA) in cooperation with Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association (APRI) held an event Focus Group Discussion Socialization and Certification of Quality Standards  Product in Miniplant. This event was held on 9 November 2017 at FAMFA Hall Cirebon, West Java. The participant of this event included several representative BSC miniplant and UPI, APRI Board, several representative from Cirebon FAMFA  and SFP. On this event also invited speaker such as Mr. H. Rusmana from BPPMHP Cirebon and Mr. Atmaji Yuwono from BKIPM Cirebon. On this event, Mrs. Ir. Erytrhina Oktiyani as Head of Marine and Fiheries Division also give a speech and opened this event. She said “Hopefully this event will give positif advantages for all of us. We hope APRI can support the program for sustainability of BSC especially in Cirebon, West Java”

As for the speaker session, Mr. H. Rusmana from BPPMHP Cirebon present about Certificate of Processing Feasibility (SKP). He was said SKP of BSC should be affirmed about the minimum legal size of Egg Berried Female. For the material about Good Way of Fish Management (CPIB) was presented by Mr. Atmaji Yuwono from BKIPM Cirebon. The participants of this activity seemed very enthusiastic, seen from the questions expressed to the speakers. They also support to abide by government regulations regarding minimum legal size and egg buried females.  Mr. Bambang Arif Nugraha as APRI Secretary present about the latest developments related to the BSC  industry and Dr. Hawis Madduppa as Excecutive Director APRI also present about new update of APRI Fisheries Improvement Program.
