FGD – Socialization and Certification of Quality Standards Product in Miniplant at Semarang, Central Java

In order to improve the guidance on the supply chain of BSC products to comply with the traceability requirements, the Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association (APRI) in cooperation with the Marine and Fisheries Agency (MFA) of Central Java Province conduct Focus Group Disscussion Socialization and Certification of Quality Standards Product in BSC Miniplant at Semarang, Central Java. This event was held in Marine and Fisheries Agency meeting room on 26 October. In this activity present related materials such as SKP (Certificate of Processing Feasibility) and CPIB (Good Way of Fish Management). Several representative from Miniplant, UPI around Central Javaat and also representative from Mina Reja Mulyo Fishermen Group was attended this meeting.

This event was opened by Ir. Santoso from Marine and Fisheries Agency of Central Java Province. He said “This activity is a follow up of activities that we have done from the Central Java MFA. Following the governor’s regulation number 33 of 2017 on fishery management of lobsters, crabs and BSC in the Central Java Province need to be submitted at this time that there is a draft related to the management certification of BSC in Central Java. Hopefully output from this meeting can provide input and improve marine sector in the Central Java Province”.

In the presenter sessions, SKP (Certificate of Processing Feasibility) represent by Sri Astuti from BPPMHP Semarang and CPIB (Good Way of Fish Management) present by Aryanifrom BKIPM Semarang. To facilitate the maintenance of SKP, then Sri Astuti also present about SKP online. Online SKP program aims to facilitate the UPI in taking care of SKP so it is more effective and efficient.
