Indonesian Blue Swimming Crab Association (APRI) was held 1st Quarterly Meeting 2017 in Surabaya on 29 April 2017. APRI boards such as Kuncoro Catur Nugroho (APRI’s Chairman), Dr. Hawis Madduppa (APRI’s Excecutive Director), Wita Setioko (APRI’s Treasurer) and Bambang Arif Nugraha (APRI’s Secretary) was attended this meeting, and 13 APRI members was recorded also attend the meeting. Moreover APRI also invited delegation and speaker from government such as Artati Widiarti (PDS-KKP), Innes Rahmania (PBM-KKP), Saifullah (BKIPM), from researcher like Yushinta Fujaya (UNHASS), and from NGO like Abdul Ghofar (NFI Crab Council).
This event has a theme that is “Traceability – The Succeed Key in Crab Business”. This activity is expected to maintain the continuity business of pasteurized BSC Meat environmentally friendly. Dr. Hawis Madduppa give the presentation about newest development report from Fisheries Improvement Project (FIP), Dr. Abdul Ghofar present about Report from NFI Crab Council, Artati Widiarti present about Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP), Innes Rahmania present about Activity Plant to Support Pasteurization of Blue Swimming Crab, Saifullah present about Good Fish Handling (CPIB), and Yushinta Fujaya present about Crab Enhancement. At the end of this event, also given sertification to member APRI and group photo.
